9 months.....and

Today has been nine months since my lovey and i have been married. It seams like it was just yesterday that i was putting on my dress waiting to become a MRS.. at the same time it feels like we have been married for much longer than nine months. In the past nine months i have come to remind myself {often} that marriage is not about me. It's about being able to do Gods will better together as a couple than apart. It's about serving each other as Christ served the church... It's about sacrifice, compromise, and unconditional love. It's about glorifying God in ALL we do. I thank God everyday for the man he created just for me. Although we are different, he has many qualities that I lack. We are better together. I love you.

summer lovin'

I love when summer makes it's way around... i love being off of work, shopping, laying out, staying up late without having to get up early, watching good morning america while drinking my cup of coffee, cleaning up without being tired, actually being able to do the laundry, fold it, and put it away..all in the same day. I would love summer to be all year long! The only bad thing about summer time is that this is Preston's busy season.. he gets home later and has to work some weekends. :( it could always be worse! Even though it is summer time, i look forward to the weekends.. i can spend some quality time with my hubby. This weekend is a busy weekend. Skylar's birthday party is on Saturday and on Sunday we will be over at my parents for a father's day cookout! 

A well needed update...

Since my last blog a lot has happened...... 

* We got married.. i've officially been MRS. BASS for 70 days!  I have the most amazing husband. I could not have been blessed with a better man.   

                      

* We went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon.. it was AMAZING

       

* We have completely moved into our townhouse.  i love it.

* School is out and it is FINALLY summer.. i thought it would never get here. Finished packing up the room today.. ahhhh great feeling. 

I have had some complaints on my blogging.. i understand. :) I'm back and you can be expecting more blogs from me more regularly. 

Home Sweet Home....

Well... I know it has been WAY to long since my last blog, but we have been pretty busy. Since I have last blogged we have pained, and moved into our new townhome, had a couple of showers along with being crazy busy finishing our wedding plans. Let me just say, I am SO glad to be moved into our new "home" together. It is just perfect. I am now just counting down the day until we say, " i do" and spring break.

Packing?

     

Alright... so Preston and I have been searching for the perfect place for us to move into when we get married ( in 58 days!!!) and well we found it about a month ago. We move in on February 6th and 7th. Preston took off the day today and tommorow so that he could "pack". Well.... i get home today at 7:00 and this is what has been done today.... hahah.  Needless to say, we have lots of packing to do.. so stay posted :)

Today is exactly  2 MONTHS until i officially become MRS. BASS...  :)
